Film Preview: Refugee Week Film Festival, 16 – 21 June, Glasgow Film Theatre, Glasgow

Scotland’s first official Refugee Week Film Festival arrives at the Glasgow Film Theatre from Tuesday 16 – Sunday 21 June with a range of films and events aiming to raise awareness of refugees in the UK.

As well as recent film The Kite Runner there’s a screening of Some Like It Hot there’s also the UK premiere of Scottish/Kurdish film Kurdi, followed by a Q&A with Peri Ibrahim and director Doug Aubrey.
