Theatre Preview: Dancing on Your Grave, 8 – 9 April, Tron Theatre, Glasgow

17 Mar

Dancing on Your Grave, the new musical extravaganza from The Cholmondeleys and the Featherstonehaughs, comes to the Tron Theatre on Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 April as part of its UK tour.

Three dancers (one Featherstonehaugh and two Cholmondeleys) join musicians and composers Steve Blake and Nigel Burch onstage as a five-piece music hall troupe – The Corpse de Ballet – dead, desperately downtrodden and travelling on a seemingly never-ending purgatorial tour.

This all-singing all-dancing music hall experience feature songs described by The Herald as ‘Killingly funny’ and performed onstage by songwriters Steve Blake and ukulele bashing minstrel Nigel Burch of the Flea Pit Orchestra.
