1 Nov

Put all thoughts of Kate Bush out of your head for a few minutes when you read that Heathcliff and Cathy are heading across those windswept moors to Edinburgh King’s Theatre this coming week in Wuthering Heights.

The play is set against the backdrop of the wild Yorkshire landscape as two childhood sweethearts, Cathy and Heathcliff, grow up and lose their innocence, Cathy choosing to marry the wealthy Edgar Linton rather than the brooding Heathcliff.

Starring the acclaimed actress Susannah York as Nelly Dean, Amanda Ryan as Cathy and Antony Byrne as Heathcliff, this is a dark and enduring story which continues to captivate readers and audiences around the world.

Visit the King’s Theatre website for performance times and to book tickets.

And if you can’t quite forget Ms Bush’s song, here’s a treat, courtesy of YouTube:
