Krapp’s Last Tape is a one-act, one-man play by Samuel Beckett, originally performed in London in 1958. Glasgow’s Tron Theatre presents the play on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 August in a production performed by Rick Cluchey from the San Quentin Drama Workshop.
According to the Tron website, the play is a “meditation on creativity and death it balances despair with the blackest of humour”, and these performances are the only dates open to the public – further performances will take place for prisoners at Barlinnie Prison.
