  1. Jon – That Sinking Feeling is a “wee gem” of a film that shows off the nascent talents of both director and his very young actors. Maybe it is the Glasgow humour/nostalgia that works for me but I have seen it 2 or 3 times and have always enjoyed it. Sorry to hear about the over dubbing as much of the charm of the film is the natural “patter” which I assume was heavily improvised. Gergory’s Girls is certainly a step up for Bill and then a leap up to Local Hero (best Scottish/British film!!) but it is worth watching this film to see where it all started.
